- *Conducts comprehensive, in-depth psycho-educational evaluations within the school setting in accordance with the WACs and IDEA.
- Writes quality reports that are personalized and able to meet the needs of a wide audience including parents, teachers, professionals, and community agencies.
- Conducts and reports out: Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), 504 Plans
- Designs intervention plans using Response to Intervention (RTI) model, as well as implementing progress monitoring.
- Conducts and writes observations.
- Performs thorough records reviews.
- Interviews parents, teachers, and other professionals.
- Connects families with community resources and supports.
- Acts as liaison between parents, schools, and community agencies. Promotes a collaborative environment.
- Able to use state forms or Ieponline.
- Assists parents with understanding their rights, as well as the special education process and laws.
